Compliance & Risk management
We closely monitor compliance and conduct risk management to protect interests of all stakeholders
Contract (Offer of employment)
Offers of employment are written in English using specific terminologies, so it is difficult for workers to understand. We make sure to explain all details, including job description, deductions, etc.
Health insurance
Under the 8501 condition of Subclass 403, international workers must have health insurance. However, Subclass 403 workers do not have access to Medicare. Therefore, we will help workers with choosing a suitable Overseas Visitor Health Cover product to comply with Australian law and protect workers.
Absconding
Absconding is a common issue for workers on temporary visas working abroad. With our experience in other markets, we have implemented several strategies to address this issue:
– Set expectation: candidates are trained to understand clearly their job, their work environment, condition, pay and deduction. Over-expectation leads to disappointment.
– Education: We continuously show them the consequence of absconding, including being deported, losing their money, becoming enslaved, and consequences for their family members and relatives regarding their prospect to enter Australia.
– Close support: We maintain close contacts with candidates through multiple channels to address issues promptly.
Grievance
– Dispute is a part of any workplace, especially in an cross-cultural work environment. Unresolved disputes might lead to big incidents, affecting multiple parties.
– We work closely with employees and stakeholders to ensure that conflicts are identified as early as possible to provide resolution, as well as perform proper grievance reporting and resolutions to protect the interests of stakeholders.
