Skill Enhancement
Each candidate has a different starting point. Mirai provides them with opportunities for development.
- Internship placement opportunities: Mirai has partnered with employers to send candidates to improve and learn technical skills through work and internship placement arrangements. We strive to work with partners that provide a working environment as close to oversea working environment, so that candidate can understand standard working procedures,
- In addition, we also work with reputable organizations to provide training on life skills such as first aid.
- We have our own vocational college to provide accommodation and training for 1,500 candidates at the same time. At our premises, we provide training on the following aspects:
- Language for specific purposes: For each job and industry, we provide language training for candidates with relevant technical vocabulary. This helps candidates to feel at home at the host country and shorten probation and training cost for employers.
- Work health and safety: Work health safety is taken seriously in Australia. The difference in working culture and processes in the two countries might lead to accidents, costing both employees time, money, and even lives. Mirai provides safety training for candidates to perform their work in a safe manner,
- Cultural orientation: Working and living in a foreign country is difficult. To address the culture differences for workers abroad, Mirai provides cultural training courses covering workplace culture, core values and life in hosting countries.
- Financial literacy: After candidates has earned their salary, it is important for them to learn how to manage their money. We provide a financial literacy course, teaching candidates to set goals, budgets, allocate spendings, using financial services, and avoiding scams.
These trainings and offers help to prepare candidates better for an international working culture, as well as adjusting for life in the hosting country, reducing the time and cost for employers providing on-the-job training. They also help candidate to manage their life, their wealth, and look for opportunities after repatriation.
